What We Believe

Love

The Bible is God’s Word, written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme authority and guide in all matters and is completely relevant to our daily lives.

The Bible

As the Lord has “...loved us with an everlasting love and drawn us to Himself with unfailing
kindness...” Jer 31:3, the mission of the Church of Jesus Christ is to do the same.

Salvation

Men and women were created by God to have a personal relationship with Him, but through Adam's disobedience, sin came into the world and passed a curse on to all people, separating us from that harmonious relationship. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was sent to pay the price for that sin. He sacrificed His own life and shed His blood to redeem and restore our broken relationship with God. To receive this redemption, a person must acknowledge that Jesus is Lord and believes that God raised Him from the dead.Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

God the Father

There is one true God, existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God is all powerful, all knowing, all loving, ever present, unchanging, and completely worthy of our adoration. It is in Him that we find our true identity. He is our Father who both hears and answers our prayers.

God the Son

Jesus is God’s son and the Son of man; the second member of the Godhead . It is only through Him that we can be restored to a relationship with God. He is the perfect and only Mediator between God and Man. Jesus Christ was sinless and perfect, and He will come again to judge all men.

God the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. When Jesus went to be with the Father, He was given to us by God to live within us, to guide us in all truth, to show us our sins, to strengthen and comfort us in our daily lives, and to embolden us to be more like Jesus.
